UPDATE: Dissertation turned in, so its official!
I successfully defended my dissertation yesterday, Friday, June 6. After I turn in my written dissertation this week, I will have earned a PhD in Genome Sciences. Here is a photo of me during my defense talk, taken by the very proud Ruolan.
The Spencer family webpage is back in business!
A failed power supply was the culprit. After upgrading to a new one, the computer serving this page should be ok for awhile–although feel free to send a check so we can get a better computer:)
I hope to have new photos up this weekend, after I defend my thesis on Friday at 12:30.
