“Isn’t she cute”

Amelia and I were out running errands today and as we traveled through one store, two of the kids in Amelia’s daycare (with their parents) came by. The little boy, Michael, said to his dad “Dad, that’s Amelia. She goes to Shannon’s too. Isn’t she cute.” What a fun way to run errands!

We have had another comfortable weekend at home. Our friends, Caroline & Jesse, stayed with us last night. They were upfront when they called and said they were hoping to see Amelia. Dave brewed what will hopefully be a delightful beer and we’re just preparing for the next week.

Amelia has discovered dolls and wants to carry both of her “Raggedy Ann” dolls around. She’ll ask for her “baby” and if you only give her one she’ll say “two?”.

  1. gramma and pop pop

We can see that it has already begun – the point at which your child becomes more well known around town than her parents. I know she has been getting most of the public’s attention for quite a while, but now it is from those whom she knows rather than just strangers. It will only increase…..
You need to add “wa-wa” and maybe squeeze (does it meet the criteria??) to Amelia’s list of words !
