The key to his happiness is the silky border, which he calls his &#8220;piece.&#8221; We often hear him cry for it while struggling to go to sleep&#8230; saying, &#8220;where&#8217;s my piece?&#8221;. Over time he has removed increments of the border, which I&#8217;ve then cut off. There is about a foot of silky border left, literally hanging on by a thread to the blanket.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Update: last night he cried from his bed, &#8220;my piece is broken!&#8221; It had fallen off, and I promptly reattached it and then he went to sleep.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Will is very attached to his blanket.
