Skin of an orange, a book and more
Obviously Amelia is becoming very verbal because Dave and I always have something new to mention. Over the holidays I kept telling Amelia I needed to peel the skin off the oranges before we ate them. A week later we returned from the library with some books and she brought one over to me because she wanted the skin (cover) off of the book. She also informed me that the crust she removed from her bread tonight was “skin” and she wasn’t going to eat it. She’s brought the term “skin” to a higher level at our house.

Amelia likes to say, “I’m going to GET you!” over and over. It’s pretty funny. The other day she was saying, “I LOVE you” to Lindsay, and Lindsay would say it back, then Amelia said: “I love you MORE.” That was funny, too.
Counting
Amelia has started counting. She was going down the stairs to our basement and said one, two, six, five. There’s still some refining to do on the order and missing numbers, but a good start.
