Installed the piclens flash (and plug-in) based photo viewer. Note that apparently the Javascript doesnt like it if the root URL is dspencer.net, rather than www.dspencer.net. Weird.
Manzanita, OR 2008
February on the Oregon coast brings up images of rain, wind and cold weather. Instead, Manzanita, OR treated us to lots of sun and time outside. We spent the 3-day weekend with both sets of grandparents and Amelia’s uncles and aunts at a great cabin eating delicious food (most prepared by Dave), visiting with friends and relaxing. The highlights included a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, a hike up Neahkanie Mountain, and for Amelia – seeing the sunset on the beach. Since we’ve come home she’s been wanting to stay outside to watch the sunset, not quite the same here. Amelia also loved having 2 pop-pops and 2 grandmas to snuggle with and entertain her (as did we!)
We rue the day we taught Amelia colors!
Because she only wants to wear purple! I tried to put a mauve shirt on her, and she said, “No! Pink!” I tried a navy blue shirt and she said, “Thats a black shirt, Daddy.” Damn it!
