A few days ago, out of the blue, Amelia asked me “mom, will I ever get a real pony?”. I responded by saying I wasn’t sure and asking what we would feed the pony if we had one. In true Spencer fashion, Amelia said “I don’t know, we’ll have to look it up.” A girl who already knows the power of google. (Since then she’s asked for a frog, caterpillar, pig and spider, probably because we’ve started Charlotte’s Web. Will asked for a giraffe.)
