The kids and I spent the last two weeks of April visiting family and friends in the lovely Pacific Northwest. We definitely made the most of our time… and did quite a bit of traveling. We started in Eatonville where we visited with family, then went to Tacoma, Seattle and Bellingham to catch up with friends, and then returned to Eatonville for Easter. There were many highlights to our trip. The kids enjoyed morning cartoons with pop pop Mike, playing with Jared’s retired Tonka toys in the rain, holding baby Galena, Jack & Emma, and meals with my parents, sister and brothers, among other things. One highlight for all three of us was a sunny morning we spent at Alki Beach eating almond croissants from Bakery Nouveau. Wow. We are glad to be home, but we are looking forward to the next trip (but this time with Dave, too).

Thank you to all for a wonderful vacation!  We hope to see you again soon.
