Camping trip Ferry ride and other photos A few additions from our trip to Iowa in June

I finished my surgery rotation. Thank goodness. It started out pretty bad–long hours and I felt lost much of the time–but got better. I still doubt I will be a surgeon, but all the feedback I received was good so I will probably get an ok grade.

A few hours after I finished the final exam, Amelia, Lindsay+belly, and I went camping South of Seattle a few miles at a state park on Puget Sound. It was a short trip, but we had a nice cook-out dinner, and went on a short 1-mile hike to the beach from our camp site. Amelia hiked the whole way by herself! She had a really great time, and enjoyed running around our site and hearing all the other campers going about their business. For some reason she decided at dusk that she wanted to sleep in her own house, but eventually feel asleep in the tent (after a story, in which Bird and Squirrel went on a long trip to find some blueberries to eat). Click here see the pictures we took, plus some taken the following day at home in the backyard.

Also, there are some new photos from our trip to Iowa that I just got around to posting (not too many, but see here), as well as some from when Amelia and I took a ferry trip +/- a few days, click here.
