Amelia’s preschool class compiled a book of what each student had planned for Thanksgiving this year. Here’s is Amelia’s entry:
“On Thanksgiving Day, I will drive with my mom, dad and brother, William, to Iowa to see my pop pop and gramma. My uncle John, auntie Helen and cousin Vera will all come too. My pop pop will take us for tractor rides! They are so much fun. For Thanksgiving, we will eat turkey and squash. We will have marshmallows and ice cream cake for dessert. My gramma loves making cookies and will probably have some for us when we get there. I will bring my baby with me and she loves gramma’s cookies too! This year I am thankful for the sun.”
